Strong libraries build strong futures (B&M Gates foundation)

Snooping around the Internet I bumped into Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. At first, I was amazed as I didn´t know they focus in many areas (health, education, poverty & development) and their projects are spread wordlwide.
I´ve chosen this video that deals the importance of having access to information, what reminds us that, there are still many countries where getting it is not a daily routine.

Witness how important information is in order to get freedom (whether intellectual or physical), to be stronger, to build up your own criterion and to have a future....

Feel free to comment!

    1. Dear Bea; find some remarks on your comments
      - to look for a job (instead of Work). You can also say: to apply for a job
      - communicate instead of comunicate

  2. Is a good idea, everything they do, Bill and Melinda,is well done. hehe.
For me is not as surprising as to them. On the one hand, because we have been grown with the technology. On the other hand, we have the big fortune of to live in a country like Spain. In summary, we must to value we have, because that we will help us in a future.

    1. Dear Aurora; find some remarks:

      - I would better structure the first sentence like that: Everything they do is a good idea. remeber to place the syntactical subject first
      - "For me, it´s not"---remember what I´ve told you about elliptical subjects. As a non-native english speaker, we tend to ommit them as in our own language we frequently do.
      - "we must value" - without "to"
      - I´d better say: We must value WHAT we have....
      - Last sentence: "becouse that will help us in a future" (It´s not necessary to write We)

  3. It is certainly a nice project to convert libraries into learning centers and better access to information through technology.
